Our take

Coframe generates and tests website variations continuously, which is a genuinely interesting application — automated experimentation at a volume no team would run manually. The statistical caution is significant: testing many variations continuously on modest traffic produces apparent winners that are noise, and acting on those is worse than not testing.

Worth it if

High-traffic sites with enough volume for continuous multivariate testing to reach significance.

Look elsewhere if

Low-traffic sites, where continuous testing manufactures false positives rather than insight.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How much traffic does continuous testing need?

More than most sites have. Detecting a small improvement reliably requires thousands of conversions per variation, and testing many variations at once multiplies that requirement. Below the threshold, the system will confidently report winners that are random variation — which is worse than no testing, because you act on them.

Does automated testing replace conversion expertise?

No. It replaces the execution, not the hypotheses. Automated systems optimise within the space of variations they can generate — copy, layout, colour — and cannot tell you that the offer is wrong or that the page is answering the wrong question. The big wins in conversion usually come from the latter.
